Science at the Met Office – Willetts gives evidence tomorrow

November 8, 2011

UK science minister David Willetts will be giving evidence tomorrow at the House of Commons Select Committee inquiry into Science at the Met Office. PST will be there and live tweeting from the session with the hashtag #sciMO.

The page does not include Willetts, but a little birdie tells us that he’s up at 10.15am.

The Met Office budget is £170m. What science does the Met Office actually produce? And is the budget affected by the austerity cuts?
